December 15, 2021
The Livermore Lions Club Christmas Parade, rescheduled for this Saturday the 18th, has been CANCELLED for 2021 in deference to our first responders and out of respect for our neighbors terribly affected by the horrific weather event this past Friday.
The prize monies are being donated to the Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Program specifically for Muhlenberg County through the Independence Bank Foundation, which has created a fund to help our communities in need.
Thank you for your understanding and please continue to keep our Western Kentucky neighbors in your thoughts and prayers.

november 11, 2021 - Veterans Day
Annually, our countrymen gather together at the appointed
11th hour of the

and honor and celebrate our veterans. Our City of Livermore had the honor to participate again in this annual event.
The colors were presented by the MCHS JROTC at the Livermore Riverfront Veterans Memorial Walkway Park. Veterans Day Remarks were presented by Col. Steve Myer, US Army Retired. A Memorial Wreath was placed at the memorial by Livermore Mayor Jesse Johnson and Commander David Scott, VFW Post #5415.
Deceased Veterans were honored as George Rhodes read their names and a bell was struck for each of them, following with a 21-gun salute by the VFW Post #5415 Honor Guard and Taps played by Wayne Morris.
Special thanks to our Sponsors: B.F. Evans Ford, City of Livermore, Muster Funeral Homes, and the VFW Post #5415.

July 4th, 2021 was definitely a day to celebrate. And the City of Livermore did! The usual heat of a summer day was upon us, but this did not stop the fun at all. Vendors, fundraisers, watermelon, parades, street dancing to the musice of Loose Wheel, and of course, the fireworks, were all outstanding! Thank you to our Sponsors, B.F. Evans, Independence Bank, and ACE Hardware as well as our non-profit Vendors, The Livermore Lions Club, The Livermore Woman's Club, The Knights of Columbus and the EMS - it was a great celebration!
